Travelling alone in the Himalaya is easy when you join a fixed departure: you arrive at the pickup hub, meet the group and the trek leader, and share tents and vehicles with other solo travellers. Roughly 40 % of our trekkers come alone; women travelling solo make up a large part of that — our batches always have a female trek leader or assistant when women are travelling.

Solo traveller group trips — FAQs
Is it safe for a woman to travel solo on these trips?
Yes. Our batches are mixed groups of verified travellers, every trek has a certified leader, and we arrange female-only tent sharing. Share your bus/flight details and the ops team tracks your arrival at the hub.
Will I be the only solo traveller?
Very unlikely — on an average Hampta Pass or Kedarkantha batch, half the group booked alone.
Is there a single supplement?
Not on treks (twin-sharing tents). On hotel-based tours, single rooms are available at an extra charge, or we pair you with another solo traveller of the same gender.
