Description
Uncover two of Himachal Pradesh’s most spiritually charged, panoramic hilltop marvels. Gaze at the enigmatic floating island of Prashar Lake (8,960 ft) nestled beside a magnificent 13th-century pagoda temple, and ascend the pine-clad ridge to Bijli Mahadev (8,060 ft)—the sacred temple where lightning strikes a 60-foot sacred staff and shatters the Shiva lingam, which is restored each time with butter and sattu.
THE GLACIATED EXPEDITION ROUTE
Ascend through the raw Keylong and Darcha outpost, setting high camps along the formidable Milang Glacier moraine before confronting the summit ridge pyramid.
WILDERNESS SAFETY & AMS PROTOCOLS
Every batch is monitored with fingertip pulse oximeters twice daily, portable medical oxygen cylinders, Gamow hyperbaric protocol, and satellite communication checkpoints.
