Description
The quintessential open trekking peak in the Pir Panjal Range. Rising majestically above the Solang Valley and Dhundi, Friendship Peak (5,289 m / 17,353 ft) offers aspiring alpinists a real taste of mountaineering: crampon footwork, ice axe self-arrests, fixed rope ascents, and an exhilarating midnight alpine summit push commanding front-row vistas of Hanuman Tibba, Shitidhar, and the Dhauladhar Range.
THE GLACIATED EXPEDITION ROUTE
Ascend through the raw Keylong and Darcha outpost, setting high camps along the formidable Milang Glacier moraine before confronting the summit ridge pyramid.
WILDERNESS SAFETY & AMS PROTOCOLS
Every batch is monitored with fingertip pulse oximeters twice daily, portable medical oxygen cylinders, Gamow hyperbaric protocol, and satellite communication checkpoints.
